Don Mattingly’s Wife Arrested in Evansville Indiana

Kim Mattingly, estranged wife of current LA Dodgers coach Don Mattingly, was arrested in Evansville Indiana Saturday February 2nd 2008 after refusing to leave Mattingly’s property that evening.

Kim and Don Mattingly filed for divorce in November 2007 citing irreconcilable differences.

Kim Mattingly was arrested on charges of public intoxication and disorderly conduct when sheriff’s deputies arrived on the scene.  According to the affidavit, signed by sheriff deputy Chad Howard, Kim Mattingly smelled of alcohol and was verbally abusive to the officers.

On Monday February 4th 2008, Don Mattingly filed for a protective order against his wife.  The court granted the request.

Don Mattingly, sometimes known as “Donny Baseball” is one of the most popular players in New York Yankee history.  When playing in the Old Timer’s Game, Mattingly consistently receives the loudest of ovations.

  1. I saw the booking photo I swear the lady just looked like she had one to many long nights.

  2. I was shocked by that photo and really debated putting a copy of it up. I figure with everything going on, she doesn’t really need an unflattering picture of her posted everywhere. Unfortunately, it already is, but I won’t add to it.
