Daylight Comes to Fort Branch and Haubstadt Indiana

Daylight Comes to Fort Branch and Haubstadt Indiana

After Wednesday evening’s strong thunderstorms followed by freezing cold, I had driven into Fort Branch Indiana in total darkness from north of Haubstadt.  Everything had looked fine, in the dark.

Driving home yesterday afternoon, I was able to see what damages there actually were in the daylight.  One home on Highway 41 south of Fort Branch had lost it’s roof; workers were already on the job and it appeared they would be done by end of day.  Just before that house, the utility pole was leaning to one side, the power lines still in place.

Haubstadt Triple Dragon Chinese  In Haubstadt Indiana, the Triple Dragon Chinese restaurant had its sign blown over.  I attempted to take a picture of the sign, but the daylight was so bright, I had to take it as a negative for it to show.

So much for seeing things in the dark.
