Free tax preparation help is being made available for low income individuals and families through the University of Southern Indiana’s College of Business Volunteer Income Tax Assistance.
Starting February 6th, free tax preparation services will be held through the college on Wednesdays at 5pm and 6:45pm until April 9th. Services will not be help March 12th due to USI’s spring break. To make an appointment call 812-464-1718.
Free Tax Help in Evansville
The United Way is also providing free tax return preparation help in Evansville. WorkOne, located at 700 east Walnut Street, offers help starting at 6pm until 8pm starting today. This service will continue every Tuesday until April 15th.
Services will also be available at the C.K. Newsome Community Center located at 100 east Walnut Street. These services will be held every Thursday night from 6pm till 8pm starting January 31st up until April 15th.
